Planning another trip soon to go back into chasing waterfalls. Open to recommendations to add to the bucket list! Here’s a collection of past hikes and adventures of chasing waterfalls.
Iceland: Gullfoss, Seljalandsfoss, Skogafoss, Svartifoss
Other than the seeing the northern lights, there are so many waterfalls to see here. Been here twice during Fall and Winter, some of the hikes are short and easy… some takes hours. Here’s a few of the favorites.

Canada: Ontario – Niagara Falls
Been here once during winter on the Canada side. I still have yet to see the US side of it.

New Zealand – Okere
This was a hidden gem on the drive as we did the loop to see the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, geothermal sights in Rotorua, and the Hobbiton™ Movie Set, .

United States: California – Yosemite
Always a beautiful place to be. Did couple hikes here including Upper and Lower Yosemite Falls, and the Half Dome.

United States: California – Burney Falls
Here on a federal holiday so it was PACKED! No parking was available close by so had to park all the way down to the camping grounds/lake area. It was a good 45-60 mins hike up but so worth it.

United States: California – Eagle Falls
This one is always a must whenever in South Lake Tahoe. The drive may be not for the faint of heart because of the winding road with no rails to the top. and a good portion of it is an avalanche zone.
Finding a parking spot is tricky but patience is key. There are a number of options to park: Emerald Bay State Park and by Eagle Falls Trailhead.

United States: Oregon – Multnomah, Wahkeena
Part of the Columbia River Gorge Scenic Area, there are a number of waterfalls you will see along the drive. Multnomah Falls is a must see stop then the other that was a short walk from the parking is Wahkeena.

United States: Washington – Snoqualmie
Long layover at Washington state meant that I have time to explore. About a 30-45 minute drive from Sea-Tac airport is this beauty.

United States: Hawaii – Maui
There are honestly so many waterfalls driving Hawaii. Maui has been the favorite and here’s a collection of a number of waterfalls that you can see along the drive to Hana.
